3 Ways To Stay Slim During The Holidays

Here are 3 Things I found on the internet to help you stay slim. Especially during the holidays.

Control portions.  I know that yummy lasagna tastes delicious and you might go for that second or third piece, but if you want to stay slim you’ll have to learn how to control your portions. This doesn’t mean you have to count calories or weigh out your food – we’re not advocates of that outdated approach! All you have to remember is that we all eat with our eyes, so to control your portions buy yourself 3/4-sized plates. That way it looks like you are eating the same amount but you’re actually eating about 20% less. Try it, you’ll be amazed!Eat at consistent times.  This is another overlooked success strategy of slim people. It’s really important that you do your best not to skip meals.  Eat at consistent times each day so that your body will be used to it and you won’t go into starvation mode. This is probably the one I’m best at: consistency rules!

Learn to say “NO”.  If your co-workers are eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts every morning for breakfast, be confident enough to say no when they try to get you to join them.  Find that internal power and self-belief that shows you’re committed to eating healthy and staying slim.

I know it can be very tempting to overdue ,being around all the food with friends and family. Just remember if you happen to fall off the plan, it’s not the end. “Never Quit” Get in the habit of  eating the correct way and it becomes easier as you go.
